Skaneateles Scholars Cup

April 17th - 19th 2026

Our inaugural AAU Youth Hockey tournament, run by the Finger Lakes Flyers, in Skaneateles, NY. All games will be held at the Skaneateles Community Center at 97 State St, Skaneateles NY.

Players must play in their age groups for the '26-'27 season.

All proceeds from the tournament go to the Skaneateles Education Foundation to support SEF to enhance the educational opportunities and experiences for all students in the Skaneateles Central School District.

Round Robin with Championship and Consolation games (Minimum of 4 games): Teams may play one or more round robin games DAY 1, one or more round robin games on DAY 2, with consolation/semi-finals and/or championship games on the final day.

Divisional allocation is based on USA Hockey roster/age group classification for the upcoming season. However, the tournament operations staff may adjust placements to fit individual team competitiveness on a case-by-case basis.

The Scholars Cup tournament is NOT a Stay to Play. Information about available hotels will be posted on our hotels tab.

*Teams must be prepared to play by 7:00 am on the first day of the tournament and have their final game end by 5:00 pm on the last day of the tournament.

Scheduling Requests: Scheduling requests may be submitted at time of registration but are not guaranteed. After registration closes and divisions are finalized, requests will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.

*Tournament game schedule will be released 7-10 days prior to the event start date.
